Gail Manpearl Smith is a native of New York City who holds a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from Queens Collage. She has been a painter and a teacher of fine arts for over 30 years. Flowers and fruit have always been Gail's inspiration. She uses watercolor in an unusually vibrant way, patterned with strong colors.

Her watercolors have been exhibited at many galleries as well as public and private spaces, among them:
